Welcome to our Colorado's Skill Challenge Rules Page

1. The competition is open to amateurs over 18 years of age only. Professional golfers are ineligible. A professional golfer is one defined as a member of any professional golf club or organization at the current time or having held a professional golf certificate thirty (30) days prior to the Skills Challenge or any person acting as a golf pro and receiving compensation for being a golf professional in the teaching of other golfers or operating any type of organization.

2. Players must use the balls provided. Other balls will not be allowed. The entry fee of $30.00 is the purchase of 12 balls per player, plus free promotional items valued at over $80.00. 4 shots for each skill position. Cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard will be accepted and is due on the day of play. All players must read and sign an official entry application including the application’s personal injury waiver and right to retain amateur status.

3. Officials will observe the target area throughout the contest. Their decision in all matters is final. The Golf Skills Challenge Officials will periodically stop play to clear balls from the target area.

4. The contestant understands that his or her entry into the Golf Skills Challenge constitutes permission to use his or her name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without any additional compensation. The contestant is aware that participating in the event may have a bearing on his or her amateur athletic status. The contestant is solely responsible for making determinations as to consequences of participating in this event.

5. Those persons participating in the North American Golf Experience Skills Challenge do so at their own risk. N.A.G.E or the other sponsors and affilliates do not assume responsibility for personal injury, loss or damage to personal, private, or other property and equipment claimed lost or damaged which may be sustained by contestants or their guests. Entrants hereby agree to hold harmless of any and all acts, including negligence.

Contest Prizes

1. A minimum of two (2) prizes will be awarded per day. Entrants are eligible for only one of the daily prizes. One will be provided for our closest grouped shot (closest grouped shots will be placed at two pin positions, total 4 shots per pin). The next will be two exact yardage shots using a 7 iron (4 shots total). The final skills shot is the golfer who hits a shot at the exact yardage of 165 (total 4 shots per golfer). All daily prizes will be awarded after completion of play for the day. Long drive contests will have promotional prizes with 4 shots total.

2. Officials will be on duty at all times during the contest. Their decision in all matters is final. Only designated officials shall exercise the right to question eligibility of any participant. Eligibility may be revoked at the sole discretion of Golf Skills Challenge Officials based on such considerations as extreme or unusual conduct, or on the basis of the use of unfair, unrecognized or illegal golfing apparatus or equipment. Officials may stop play at any time and reserve the right to require the contestant to speed up play, give up the tee to entrants who have waited more than ten minutes or to cease activity determined by the officials to be unsafe, objectionable or unfair. Permission to participate in the contest may be revoked at any time. Event will occur on day of play and can be delayed because of weather conditions.

3. Officials will observe the target area throughout the contest. Their decision in all matters is final. All contests are held on our 3D doplar radar tacking system.

4. Winners of our daily event for Closest grouped shots will be eligible to win our weekly event. To win you must be the closest grouped shots in both pin positions. Ties will result in random drawing. Also, provided for this contest is the weekly winner receives free entry into our million dollar hole-in-one shoot out. Shoot out will be held the first week of October. Date, times and place will be determined later in the season.

5. All entries receive a free 1 year Colorado Golf Pass, which allows unlimited discounts at over 50 Colorado golf courses. Please check out membership page for discounted benefits.
