The 12th - “Faith”
This hole is all about how much “faith” you have. The tee shot presents a clear, but dangerous, advantage by taking your shot over the bunker. This shortens the hole considerably. However, the more visible angle to the green is from the right side of the fairway. Most players will have to play something shorter than a driver if playing to the right side of the bunker. Beware of the ever present wetlands that stand on the left and right sides, as well as long, of the fairway.
The bunker that is short and left of the green is really quite a bit short of the green and present a little visual trick. It also hides a portion of the left side of the green. The green is really very receptive as slope on all sides will direct shots back towards the green.
While the green is relatively subtle, it is also long so that distance control is a key to having a good putt. When the pin is left only the most aggressive players should try to get close.
