The 13th - “Let it Ride”
The short 13th may be capable of being driven by some players, but there is considerable risk in doing so as a wetland down the left and bunkers down the right form a narrow approach. If you choose not to “Let it Ride”, the tee shot should be carefully positioned relative to pin location. If the pin is left or back left the best tee shot favors the right side of the fairway. If the pin is right or back right the best tee shot favors the left side of the fairway, over the bunker. From the back tee players have approximately 235 yards to the end of the fairway on the left and approximately 250 yards to the first bunker on the right. The green slopes mostly from right to left with the very front coming off the front. Use this slope to your advantage in staying away from the bunker that guards the left side of the green. Be aware that 10 Mile Creek sneaks around the back left side of the green.
