The Rifle Creek Golf Course, three miles North of Rifle, could easily be one of the most scenic and spectacular 18-hole championship courses in Colorado. This beautiful and pristine course, designed by Richard M. Phelps, uses all of the area's natural beauty. The natural terrain lent itself to the development of two very distinct nine holes numerous trees, water hazards, elevated tees, narrow passages and landing areas, and well-contoured greens built in the valleys of the Hogback Range. The entire golf course is filled with spectacular views that are unobstructed by development.
